The Bedrock BTB115 is an advanced acoustic signal generator that supports a variety of test signals, including STIPA and full STI. Designed to match a human talker in terms of directivity pattern and other characteristics, the BTB115 Advanced Talkbox removes the hassle out of creating a calibrated test setup.
What is Bedrock?
Bedrock produces innovative
acoustic measuring instruments
for acousticians, audio specialists,
architects, consultants, engineers
and basically anybody involved
in (acoustic) testing and
certification.
All Bedrock products are
designed and manufactured in
the Netherlands, by the inventors
of STIPA.
Why choose the BTB115?
Whenever acoustic test signals need to be generated at the input of a system under test (such as the paging microphone of a PA system), the BTB115 can be used to simplify the process. A typical example is STIPA or Full STI testing. The TalkBox automatically generates each signal with an accurately calibrated spectrum and sound level.
The BTB115 is extremely easy to use. It features three capacitive touch displays, which allow you to control the device from either front or back. All features can be seen at a glance through the intuitive menu structure, and controlled with a single touch. If you want, you can control the TalkBox remotely over WiFi or Bluetooth.
If you need a calibrated electronic output signal instead of an acoustic signal, you can use the balanced line out on the back of the device (in parallel with the loudspeaker, if you like). Or you can choose to use the TalkBox simply as an accurately calibrated loudspeaker through its line input. The integrated laser distance meter helps you to accurately place a microphone in front of the TalkBox, indicating the precise sound level at the microphone position.
