Digital Modbus
The single 4-20 output functions for both gases on the CX-6/12. The two terminal (+ and -) function as the signal out and return for this multiplexed output and when connecting a CX device to Macurco proprietary software, it will see and address each of the monitor’s sensors separately; Modbus will see separate registers for each channel. Optionally the 4-20 output of the CX-6 can be set to dual, where the signal carries the reading for each gas, or high, where it only carries the signal for the higher gas type of the two.
