The Cool Air Incorporated Digital Central Supervisory Alarm Panel is designed to monitor up to 32 Ammonia Leak Detectors, providing a central alarm and monitoring location as well as communicating the status of all connected Leak Detectors via a standard field bus (when optionally equipped).
Standard Features
- Digital display showing the concentration level of connected ammonia detectors
- Audible and visible warnings of excess leak levels at any connected Ammonia Leak Detector
- Normally-open, normally-closed contacts for communicating a common alarm to industry alarm systems
- NEMA 4X, UL-listed enclosure with high quality, UL listed components
Additional Features
- Affordable
- One year warranty
- Virtually maintenance free
- Optional field bus to communicate status and ammonia concentration levels to connected building monitoring equipment (see list of supported fieldbus models at right)
- Accepts 4-20 mA input

Sequence of operation
The Digital Central Supervisory Alarm Panel is designed to monitor the required number of field sensors from remote ammonia leak detectors. If a remote detector detects a concentration of ammonia exceeding the pre-set level (adjustable from 25 ppm to 800 ppm concentration of NH3), it will close a dry contact which sends an alarm signal to the Digital Central Supervisory Alarm Panel. The remote units can be wired to send an audible alarm signal to the Central Panel at both the “early warning” and “emergency alarm” stages of ammonia concentration.
Available fieldbus models
The Digital Central Supervisory Alarm Panel supports the following fieldbuses:
ControlNet
Ethernet /IP
Modbus RTU
Modbus TCP
